Vegetable Upma Easy

Vegetable Upma (Cracked wheat/Rava upma)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Semolina Rava
  • 1 small Onion
  • 10 nos Small onions Kunjulli
  • 1 no Garlic pod
  • Ginger A small piece of 1 to 2 inches length
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Bengal gram Kadala parippu
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnu parippu
  • 8 nos Cashew nuts
  • 1/8 cup Oil
  • 3 nos Beans
  • 1/2 of Potato
  • 10 nos Grean peas
  • 5 nos Cauliflower florets
  • 1 nos Carrot
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Chop onion, garlic and ginger into small pieces.
  • Chop the remaining vegetables into cube size and boil them.
  • Heat oil on a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds.
  • When they pop, add Bengal gram and black gram.
  • When they turn golden brown, add onion, ginger and garlic.
  • When the onion turns golden brown, add the semolina.
  • Fry until you get the aroma of shredded wheat.
  • Add salt, hot water and cooked vegetables.
  • Stir Vegetable Upma continuously for 5 minutes and cover with lid and turn off the stove.
  • Let Vegetable Upma cool on the remaining heat.
  • :- Vegetable Upma is ready.
  • :- Vegetable Upma is Ready to serve with chutney.
