- 1 No. Grated Carrot Large
- 250 g Okra/Vendakka Cut into thin pieces
- 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
- Few curry leaves
- 1/2 Piece Onion Sliced
- 1 No. Green chilly Sliced
- Salt as required
- 2 Tbsp Grated coconut
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
Cut all the ingredients and keep it ready.
Heat 2 –3 tsp oil over medium or medium-high heat. Splutter mustard seeds.
Add some curry leaves.
Add okra and saute for 3-4 minutes, it helps in reducing the slime in it.
Stir occasionally.
Now add grated carrot.
Mix well.
Add turmeric powder and salt as required.
Add grated coconut.
Mix well and cook for 8 – 10 minutes. Stir occasionally, until completely cooked.
Serve with rice and other side-dishes.
