Heat oil in a clay pot, add sliced shallots, ginger, garlic, green chilies and salt.
Once they start to turn light brown, lower the flame and add turmeric powder, and Kashmiri chilli powder . Sauté till the raw smell goes away.
Add Kudampuli along with the water and prawns. Sauté well.
Add hot water to cook prawns and salt , and increase the heat.
Once it boils, cover and cook for 10 minutes or till the prawns gets cooked.
Heat oil in a pan for tempering, add mustard seed and let it splutter , add dry red chilies, sliced shallots and curry leaves.
Add fenugreek powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and roast on low flame.
Switch off the heat and add this to the curry.
Leave it covered for a minute.
Serve with hot rice..
