Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder,Kashmiri chilli powder,jeera powder,kasuri methi, curd, lemon, ghee, and salt..Set aside for minimum 2 hours..
Heat oil in a pan add cloves, cardamom ,cinnamon and sauté till fragrant..
Add onion and mix well and a pinch of salt and sauté till the onion turns golden brown.
Add remaining ginger garlic paste, and mix well.
Cook till the raw smell goes away. Then add break dried red chilies and sauté well..
Add salt , remaining turmeric powder,remaining chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.Pour 2 tbsps water and sauté for a minutes.
Add tomato purée and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add marinated chicken and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add cashew paste and mix well..
Add garam masala powder, pepper powder, remaining kasuri methi , 1 cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes..
Transfer the cooked chicken in a bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves .
