Chicken Pepper Fry

Ingredients
  

  • kg Chicken medium sized
  • 3 nos Onions chopped
  • Ginger chopped
  • 5 nos Green chillies slit
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • 3 tbsp Veg oil
  • 1 tbsp Pepper corns
  • 2 - Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 5 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 2 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 3 nos Star anise Flower shaped spice, normally comes with spice mix, Thakkolam
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 stem Curry leaves
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Cook the chicken with salt, green chilly and chopped ginger, until dry.
  • While the chicken gets cooked, grind pepper corn, cinnamon, cloves, aniseed and cardamon together into a powder.
  • Heat oil in a tawa.
  • Add onion and saute until light brown.
  • Add curry leaves, tomato and stir well until oil separates.
  • Add masala powder and turmeric powder.
  • Add cooked chicken and stir well.
  • Cover it and simmer for 5 mins on a low flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
