Malabar Squid Curry or Nadan Koonthal curry are one of my family favourite curry dish,we cooked it in traditional style. This is special seafood. uncooked squid contains around 198 milligrams of cholesterol and 13.2 grams of protein along with 0.3 grams of total saturated fat. It also contains healthy fats: 0.09 grams of monounsaturated fat, and 0.4 grams of polyunsaturated fat. Many people take omega-3 supplements or turn to eating more foods with omega-3 fatty acids — such as salmon — because of the cardiovascular benefits, which include their ability to raise HDL levels. In recent years, calamari oil has gained a lot of positive media attention for its omega-3 fatty acids .Squid mostly available in seashore side. Not in all around place. But in kerala is very popular and available . The result is tender squid in a rich gravy, it's perfect for Rice, chappathi and Kappa.
Wash and clean the squid and cut into small pieces.
Take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
Heat oil in a kadai and add ginger garlic paste, onion, salt and green chilly.saute until the onion turns light brown in colour
