Murillo's Chicken

A tasty chicken curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 2 nos Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup Coconut
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder/Dhaniya
  • 2-3 nos Cardamom Elaichi
  • 2-3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 5 nos Pepper
  • 2 pieces Cinnamon Dalchini
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies
  • 1/4 cup Tamarind water
  • Coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Instructions
 

  • Clean the chicken pieces and cut into 2 inch pieces.
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste & salt. Keep aside for 1/2 hour.
  • Grind coconut, jeera, dhaniya, elaichi, cloves, pepper, dalchini & dry red chillies.
  • Slice the onios.
  • Heat oil in a kadai & fry the sliced onions until golden brown.
  • Then add the marinated chicken into the kadai and fry.
  • Add the ground masala & tamarind water. Cook well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Tips:- 1)To make the chicken more tastier fry the coconut & masalas before grinding)
