Raw rice
soak overnight

cup
Jackfruit puree
1 1/2
cup
Jaggery
1/2
cup
Maida
salt
pinch
Water
as required
Instructions
Powder the rice using a blender,it should powder too fine.
Remove the jackfruit seeds and grind it to a fine paste.
Dissolve the jaggery in half cup of water
In a bowl,add rice powder,maida,jackfruit puree,melted jaggery,salt and water.Mix it well,it should not be too runny.
Heat a pan,pour some batter and fry it until golden brown in colour.
Vayakkathil appam is ready to serve.
