Green Pappaya pachadi is an easy to make kerala style Thayir Pachadi.The taste of this Pachadi is similar as that of Cucumber Pachadi.It is a quick fix healthy recipe to serve with rice.
Peel and chop the pappaya into small pieces.Add enough water to submerge and allow to cook till soft with some salt.
While it is cooking,grind the coconut,mustard seed and green chillies together as a fine paste.
Discard the pappaya cooked water and add the coconut paste and mix well.
Heat oil in a clay pot and splutter mustard seed in it.add curry leaves and dry red chillies along with it.
Add pappaya coconut mixture into it and cook for 30 seconds and switch off the flame.add the thick beaten yogurt and mix well.check for salt and add if required.
