Cherupayar Curry/Moong Dal Curry-Home Style
Cherupayar curry and puttu is a common kerala breakfast recipe. This is also a protein rich curry for dinner along with chapathi,roti etc..This is normally prepared with the green moong dal, which is highly nutritious.

soak over night

Coconut

Green chilly

Turmeric powder

Red chilly powder
Curry leaves

Salt
to taste
Water
as required
Instructions
Pressure cook the moong dal with turmeric powder,chily powder,green chilly,salt and water as required for 4-5 whistles.
Grind grated coconut with little water and add into the cooked curry.
Add curry leaves,mix well and allow to cook for 2 minutes.before it starts to boil turn off the flame.
Now your delicious cherupayar curry is ready to serve.
