Sharkara Pazham

Sharkara pazham is an easy evening snack made by Keralites.Only very ripe bananas are used for making this snack. Sharkara pazham is served along with tea .

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cut Banana ethapazam
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup Grated jaggery
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 5 each Cashew/Raisins

Instructions
 

  • Blend the grated coconut and prepare the thin and thick coconut milk from it. Cook the banana pieces with the thin coconut milk in a saucepan pan on low flame.
  • Add grated jagerry,cardamom powder,mix well till it becomes thick.
  • Add the thick coconut milk and switch off the flame.
  • Heat ghee in a pan,fry the cashews,raisins and pour this into the banana mix.
  • Sharkara pazham is ready to serve. Enjoy!
