Papaya Moru Curry

Papaya Moru Curry is a traditional kerala side dish recipe made with yogurt and ground coconut and it is simple kerala vegetarian curry.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small Papaya
  • 1 cup,grated Coconut
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard
  • Curry leaves little
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop raw papaya into small pieces.
  • Cook papaya with rrd chilly powder,turmeric powder,green chilly,curry leaves,salt and 2 cup water.
  • Grind grated coconut with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and little water to make a smooth paste.
  • Pour the coconut paste and yogurt in to the cooked pappaya,let it boil.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed in it.mix it with the curry and remove from the flame.
  • Papaya moru curry is ready to serve..
