Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Toovar dal
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 2 Green chilly
  • 2 Dry red chilly
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves little
  • 2 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
  • Pressure cook dal for 8 whistles on a medium flame till they are cooked.
  • Heal oil a pan and add mustard,when it starts splutter add onion,tomato,dry red chilly,green chilly,garlic and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add cooked dal,turmeric powder,chilly powder,curry leaves and salt.
  • Mix well and cook it again for 2 minutes.
  • Dal fry is ready to serve
