Kallumakkaya Roast | Mussels Roast With Video

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Mussels/Kallumakkai
  • 2 nos. Onion Chopped
  • 1 no. Tomato(large) Chopped
  • 4 nos. Green chilly chopped
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3/4 tsp Garam masala
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Clean mussels/kallumakkai and marinate it in a mixture of chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep for a few minutes aside.
  • Heat oil in a vessel and deep fry the mussels. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute onion until it is golden brown in colour.
  • Add tomato, green chilly, ginger-garlic paste, curry leaves, coriander leaves and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add fried mussels, garam masala powder, required salt and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Mussels Roast is ready to serve.
