Hyderabad Chicken

Chicken fry recipe, a easy dry chicken recipe in andhra restaurant style. This Hyderabadi Chicken Masala is a hot and spicy chicken masala that lives upto the promise of everything that Hyderabadi cuisine offers.

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • onion 2 no.
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • ajinomoto 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • red chili 10 no.
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • cashews 15 no.
  • ghee 1 tsp
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • slice the onion and red chili
  • in a bowl add chicken. garam masala, pepper, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curd, salt and ajinomoto ,mix well and marinate for 1/2 hour
  • In a kadai heat the oil and saute the onion and red chili for 2 mins
  • add marinated chicken and mix well, and cook for 5 mins in medium flame
  • now add 2 glass of water, mix well and cook until the chicken get cooked
  • in pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews
  • transfer the fried cashews to the chicken and mix well
  • once the masala get dry, turn off the flame
  • now hyderabad chicken is ready to serve, garnish with coriander leaves
