Pacha Kurumulaku Sardine Fish Fry (Green Peppercorns)

Sardine fish fry/mathi fry is a typical kerala traditional recipe.sardine fish fry with pacha kurumulaku (green peppercorns) is a quick,simple and perfect side dish for rice.Sardines are a great source of vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium and phosphorus and support cardiovascular health and reduce the blood sugar level.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Sardine fish
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Ginger small piece
  • 2 tbsp Green peppercorn
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Curry leaves little
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Clean and wash the fish nicely with running water.make some gashes on each sides.take all the ingredients and keep aside.
  • Make a fine paste of green peppercorn,curry leaves,ginger&garlic
  • Apply the masala paste,turmeric powder and salt on fish.keep it for 10 minutes in refrigerator
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the each sides of fish
  • Once crisp remove from heat and transfer it into a serving plate.serve hot Mathi Fry in pacha kurumulakku with rice & enjoy!
