Pirini

This is very famous in north that too in Punjab. This is pirini is very tasty and nice aroma and make delicious and this is pirini also called kheer in some place but this pirini is cooked by basmathi rice and with milk and temper with ghee and topped cashew and pista.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Basmathi rice
  • ½ liter Milk
  • Water needed
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 6 Cashew and pista – 5
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder
  • ½ cup Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Soak rice for 20 mins and drain and grind coarsely
  • Boil milk and add rice grind mix well and add water if needed and boil well
  • Now add sugar and cardamom mix well
  • Now heat ghee in pan and roast cashew and pista
  • Now add to pirini and mix well and cook well
  • Pirini is ready to serve.
