Butter Milk Rasam

Butter milk rasam is a body coolant rasam to have with rice. Here we dont add any tomato or tamarind to the rasam . The rasam is tempered with red chilli and hing . This is so simple to make in times of need.A dry powder is pounded and added to the rasam and it gives a excellent aroma .

Ingredients
  

  • red chilli 3
  • channa dal 1 sp
  • jeera 1 sp
  • pepper 1 sp
  • dhania 1 sp
  • turmeric 1/2 sp
  • curry leaf few
  • salt to taste
  • hing 1/4 sp
  • mustard 1 sp

Instructions
 

  • dry roast red chilli , channa dal , jeeraa, pepper and dhania and make a coarse powder.
  • in butter milk add turmeric, salt, hing, and curry leaf
  • to this butter milk add the ground mix.
  • temper this rasam with mustard, redchilli and brind to boil.
