Murmura Snack

An evening snack with murmura (Puffed Rice).

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups murmuraas
  • 150 gms onions
  • 5-7 nos Green chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • Cumin seeds
  • 4 tsp oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 no Small lemon

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan, add 4tsp oil , mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute well.
  • Add chopped onions and saute till onion turns light golden in color.
  • Add turmeric powder and washed murmuras. Mix all ingredients well.
  • Add salt to taste, Coriander leaves and juice of one lemon.
  • Serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
