Bajra Kichidi

This is very famous in Madhya Pradesh. This bajra is good to health and make people light and this bajra is very good in finer and also nice aroma while grind. This kichidi is very simple and easy to do. This bajra kichidi is good in taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Bajra
  • ½ cup Moong dal soaked
  • ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 Green chili
  • 2 Cloves, cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Jeera
  • 1 sting Curry leaves
  • Salt as per taste
  • ¼ tsp Hing
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 5 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Soak Bajra for 4 hour and grind coarsely.
  • In pressure pan add oil and temper cloves, cinnamon, jeera, hing
  • Now add curry leaves, green chili, and ginger garlic paste saute.
  • Now add bajra, mong dal and salt and turmeric and sauté well for 3 mins
  • Now add water and mix well and close lid and cook for 20 min
  • Now the Bajra Kichidi is ready to serve .
