Chicken Do Pyaza
Chicken do pyaza is a popular North Indian Chicken curry preparation. As the name implies the curry is spicy at the same time little sweet, creamy and delicious.

Ingredients for marinating the chicken: 1/2 kg Chicken 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 2 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp Chicken masala powder 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1/2 cup Thick curd Salt to taste Other Ingredients: 2 tbsp Oil 2 medium onion Tomato puree of two big tomatoes Salt little 1/2 tsp Sugar 1 tbsp Butter / ghee 2 nos Green chilly thinly sliced Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp 1 tsp Kasoori methi crushed 1 handful Coriander leaves 1 tbsp Fresh cream
Mix chicken pieces with the ingredients under marination
Marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, saute onions, green chili until brown in color.
Add tomato puree along with the Marinated chicken and mix well
add the chicken to the gravy
add salt and sugar and 1/4 cup of boiling water; if more gravy is required.
Mix well and cover cooks for about 20 minutes.
add garam masala, fresh cream and kasoori methi, mix well and turn off the flame
now chicken Do pyaza is ready to serve
