Chettinad Milagu Kuzhambhu
Chettinad Milagu (Pepper) Kuzhambhu is a traditional South Indian kuzhambu made by blending black pepper corns with other spices. It has a nice aroma and it is an unique dish from Chettinad Cuisine.

1 tbsp Milagu bell pepper 4 Red chili 1 tsp Channa and urad dal 2 tbsp Coconut 1/2 cup Tamarain water Salt as per taste 10 chopped Shallots 1 string Curry leaves 1/4 tsp Asafeotida 2 tbsp Oil 1/2 tsp Mustard
In a pan add tsp oil and roast bell pepper, red chili, channa and urad dal and fry and allow to cool
Now grind in mixie and make coarsely
Now add coconut and grind well with little water and make fine paste
Now in a pan add more oil and temper mustard and curry leaves and asafeotida and and shallots and saute well
Now add paste and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Now add tamarind water and cook well and salt
Now cook for 10 minutes in a medium flame. when oil comes out turn off.
Now its ready to serve Chettinad Milagu Kuzhambhu
