Green Fry

Green fry is a light and filling evening time snack dish prepared with green gram. It is very nutritive and gives an unbelievable taste. The steamed green gram batter is fried with onions and other ingredients and served.

Ingredients
  

  • green gram 1cup
  • salt
  • onion chopped 1 cup
  • ginger garlic crushed 1/4 sp
  • mustard 1 sp
  • gingely oil 2 sp
  • turmeric 1/4 sp
  • curry leaves few

Instructions
 

  • soak green gram over night and grind it to a paste
  • bake the batter with salt like idlies
  • cool idlies and cut it to small cubes
  • heat pan and saute mustard, onion ,ginger garlic with curry leafs
  • now add pepper salt and turmeric
  • finally add the cut cubes stir it untill edges turn brown and serve hot
