Sundakka (Turkey Berry) Poriyal

sundakka 1 cup bengal gram 1/2 cup small onion 1/2 cup garlic 4 no. red chili powder 1/2 tsp salt to taste turmeric powder 1/2 tsp grated coconut 1/2 cup tamarind water 1/2 cup
clean and wash the sundakka for 5 times
in a pan boil the water and bengal gram
once the bengal gram get cooked 3/4th add sundakka, salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder and mix well
chop the onion and garlic
add tamarind water and 2 glass of water and allow to cook until the bengal gram and sundakka get cooked well
now add onion and garlic and mix well and allow to cook for 5 minutes
add sugar and mix well
add grated coconut,mix well and turn off the flame
now sundakka poriyal is ready
