Pachapayar Kadasal
this is normal and simple recipe. this is one of the dal. in Tamilnadu its common in all house. its more healthy and nice color too

- 1 cup Green gram pachapayar
- 1/4 cup shallots
- 1 shopped Tomato
- 3 to Red chili
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Asafeotida
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 1/2 tsp Jeera
- 1/4 tsp Fenugreek
- 1 string Curry leaves
- 2 tsp Oil
Boil Green gram and mash well with masher
In pan add oil and temper mustard, jeera, fenugreek
Now add shallots, tomato, curry leaves,red chili and saute well
Now add salt and mashed dal, mix well
Now add water 1/2 cup , add asafeotida, bring it to boil and turn off
Now its ready to serve Pachapayar Kadasal
