Nattu Kozhi Thengai Varuval

i tried this recipe for the first time. it came well and good taste and texture

Ingredients
  

  • Nattu kozhi 1 kg
  • coconut paste 1 cup
  • onion 2 no.
  • cardamom 2 no.
  • cinnamon small piece
  • clove 7 no.
  • ginger garlic paste 3 tsp
  • red chili powder 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chili 2 no.
  • mint and coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • oil 5 tsp
  • colour powder 1 pinch

Instructions
 

  • in a pressure cooker add nattu kozhi, salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder and allow for 3 whistle
  • powder the cardamom, cinnamon and clove
  • in a bowl add 1 sliced onion, ginger garlic paste and cardamon powder
  • once the chicken get cooked remove from water
  • add boiled chicken with onion, mix well and marinate for 1/2 an hour
  • in a pan heat the oil and add remaining sliced onion and red chili and saute it until the onion turn into brown
  • add coriander and mint leaves and mix well
  • add coconut paste and mix well
  • now add marinated chicken and mix well
  • add red chili powder and salt and mix well
  • add colour powder and mix well
  • add the chicken stock and mix well and allow to cook for 15 minues until the chicken get mix well with coconut flavor
  • once the chicken get cooked and water get dry turn off the flame
  • nattu kozhi thengai varuval is ready. garnish with coriander leaves
