Toast the Bread with butter (Optional)
Cut the bread into small cubes. 9 cubes per slice/16 cubes per slice. Keep aside.
Temper the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black gram, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste for a minute.
Saute the onions till they are golden and translucent. Add turmeric powder and salt to taste.
Add capsicum, carrot and peanuts and cook till tender.
Add tomatoes and cook till tender.
Add the bread cubes into the mixture and mix slowly and carefully so as not to break the bread cubes further. Make sure the bread cubes are coated with the above ingredients.
Garnish with lemon juice (few drops only) and coriander leaves. Serve warm.
Fennel seeds and Garam/Chat Masala can be added for taste.
