Potato Fry Masala

This is very easy to prepare and makes an Indian meal special. Lightly spiced with red chili powder and with the nice aroma of ginger and garlic, this aloo fry has great taste and flavour

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Potato
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 small Tomato optional
  • 1/2 Garlic / ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 no Green chilli
  • Coriander leaves.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil as required.

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the washed potatoes along with little turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes till it becomes brown and crispy.
  • Heat 3tbsp of oil in a pan, add chopped onion, ginger / garlic paste, green chilli and saute it well. Add turmeric, chilli powder and saute again. Add tomato, stir it for a while.
  • Then add fried potatoes, stir well. Close the pan with a lid for two minutes. Add coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy the potato fry masala with chapathi, pooris or appam.
