Curry Leaves Powder

Curry leaves powder can be stored for a month and can be used when needed. Nothing can beat the fresh flavor of homemade curry leaves powder.

Ingredients
  

  • curry leaves 1 cup
  • Red chili 5no.
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp
  • pepper seed 1 tsp
  • bengal gram 3 tsp
  • urad dal 3 tsp
  • asafoetida 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • dry roast the red chili, cumin seed and pepper seed
  • again dry roast the bengal gram and urad dal
  • add asafoetida and turn off the flame
  • dry roast the curry leaves for 3 minutes
  • add salt. allow to cool and make as a powder by grinding it
  • curry leaves powder is ready. serve with rice by adding oil or ghee
