soak the maize / makka cholam and idly rice for four hours
grind it by adding soaked urad dal and make as a batter and allow to get fermented
finely chop the onion
in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
add onion and saute it until it turn into brown
transfer the onion into maize batter and add finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves
mix well
heat the oil in the paniyaram pan
pour the batter and allow to cook in one side
once it get cooked in one side then turn it and allow to cook other side
now maize paniyaram is ready. serve with chutney
