Moong Dal Kheer / Pasi Paruppu Payasam

Ingredients
  

  • Moong dal / Pasi paruppu 2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • milk 1/4 L
  • cashews 1/4 cup
  • ghee 4 tsp
  • water 5cup
  • cardamom powder 5 tsp
  • grated coconut 1/2 cup

Instructions
 

  • fry the moong dal with adding oil
  • boil the moon dal and smash it
  • in a big vessel add water and boil it
  • once the water get boiled add boiled moong dal and mix well
  • add sugar and mix it
  • add milk and mix well
  • now add cardamom powder and mix it
  • in a pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews
  • transfer the cashews into moong dal and mix well allow to cook for 15 mins in medium flame
  • before the turn off the flame add grated coconut and mix well
  • moong dal kheer / pasiparuppu payasam is ready to serve
