Moong Dal Kheer / Pasi Paruppu Payasam
Paruppu Payasam is a one of many verities of payasams in south India, especially popular in Kerala and Tamilnadu.

- Moong dal / Pasi paruppu 2 cup
- sugar 1 cup
- milk 1/4 L
- cashews 1/4 cup
- ghee 4 tsp
- water 5cup
- cardamom powder 5 tsp
- grated coconut 1/2 cup
fry the moong dal with adding oil
boil the moon dal and smash it
in a big vessel add water and boil it
once the water get boiled add boiled moong dal and mix well
add sugar and mix it
add milk and mix well
now add cardamom powder and mix it
in a pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews
transfer the cashews into moong dal and mix well allow to cook for 15 mins in medium flame
before the turn off the flame add grated coconut and mix well
moong dal kheer / pasiparuppu payasam is ready to serve
