In a bowl add rava, dessicated coconut, all purpose flour
Then add butter & egg, Mix well
Add sugar, milk and mix well
Then add saffron, baking powder and mix well, then pre heat the oven for 180'C and pour the mixture in a greased pan then bake it for 30minutes in 180'C
In mean time of baking, in a bowl add sugar,water. When sugar gets dissolved keep it in low flame cook for 5 minutes and turn off
add vanilla essence in sugar syrup and allow to cool
After baking basbousa, pour the sugar syrup.
Now add almonds as toppings on it
Again bake it for 15 minutes in 180'C, Then cut the basbousa into cubes and allow it to cool.
Basbousa can be taken out from the tray after cooled. Now its ready to serve
