this is a very nice recipe. Basbousa is a term in the Middle east that refers to a very sweet semolina sort of cake. Verbally in Arabic its called as busbousa.

Instructions
- In a bowl add rava, dessicated coconut, all purpose flour
- Then add butter & egg, Mix well
- Then add saffron, baking powder and mix well, then pre heat the oven for 180'C and pour the mixture in a greased pan then bake it for 30minutes in 180'C
- After baking basbousa, pour the sugar syrup.
- Now add almonds as toppings on it
- Again bake it for 15 minutes in 180'C, Then cut the basbousa into cubes and allow it to cool.
- Basbousa can be taken out from the tray after cooled. Now its ready to serve
