Make tamarind paste
cut the garlic and red chili into 3 piece
fry the red chili, sesame seed, fenugreek seed, coriander seed, cumin seed, black pepper seed, mustard, urad dal, bengal gram with out oil
make as powder by grinding it
in kadai heat the oil, temper the mustard, curry leaves, red chili
add garlic, tamarind paste, salt, and sesame seed and mix well and allow to cook for 15 minutes
add peanut and asafoetida and mix well
now add the powder and mix well
allow to cook until the tamarind becomes thick
now puli karaisal is ready, mix with rice and serve it
