Ingredients
  

  • Idli 6 no.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Color powder 1 pinch
  • corn flour 1 tsp
  • maida 1/2 tsp
  • rice flour 1 tsp
  • tomato sauce 3 tsp
  • oil to fry
  • onion 1 no.
  • tomato 1 no.
  • green chili 1 no.
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Cut the idli into small cubes
  • in a bowl add idli, salt, red chili powder, color powder, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, maida and rice flour
  • mix well and marinate for 5 minutes
  • heat the oil in the pan and fry the idli
  • remove the idly from the oil and keep aside
  • chop the onion, tomato and green chili
  • in a pan heat the oil and add onion, green chilies and saute it for 5 minutes until the onion turn into golden brown
  • add chopped tomato and mix well
  • add red chili powder, salt and turmeric powder and mix well
  • add tomato sauce and mix well
  • add fried idly, mix well and allow to cook in a medium flame for 5 minutes
  • idly chili fry is ready
