clean and wash the chicken
in a pressure cooker heat the oil and ghee and temper the bay leaf, aniseed, clove, carmom and cinnamon
add chopped onion and green chili and saute it until the onion turn into brown
add tomato, mint leaves and coriander leaves and mix wellc
add ginger garlic paste and mix well until the raw smell goes out
add chicken, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper and squeeze the lemon and mix well and allow to cook in a medium flame
add required water to boil the chicken and allow to cook the chicken
once chicken get 3/4 boiled add 8 cup of water for 4 cup of rice and allow to boil
mean while soak the briyani rice in water for 10 minutes
once the water get boiled add soaked briyani rice and mix well, and allow to cook in medium flame for 5 mins
now close the lid and allow to cook for 10 mins in low flame and turn off the flame
once the pressure goes out from cooker remove the lid and mix well
naattu kozhi briyani is ready to serve. serve with any raitha
