Kongu Style Takkali Kuzhambu
this is a famous recipe in coimbatore. this gravy is combo to idly dosa, rice.. idiyappam. flavour is also good.

- 4 Tomato
- 1/2 Coconut grated
- 1/4 cup Fried gram
- 1 tblsp Coriander seed
- 3 Dry chili
- 2 Onion
- 1/2 tsp funnel seed
- 1/2 tsp Jeera
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 Cloves and cinnamon
- 1 string Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- Salt as taste
- 2 tblsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard
In pan add oil and roast coriander seed, dry chili, jeera, funnel seed, pepper and friend gram
Now add grated coconut stir well
Now add Roughly chopped onion and tomato saute well
Now turn off and allow to cool
Now add mixture in jar and grind smooth paste
In pan add oil and temper mustard seed and curry leaves
Add grind mixture and cook to boil and add salt and water 1 cup and boil for 10 mins.
Now its ready to serve Kongu Style Takkali Kuzhambu
