Masala Prawns Kerala Style

It is a side dish for chappathi and rice. Kids and adults like this very much. It is very easy to prepare also.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Prawns
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Gram masala
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 11/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 5 Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Cook cleaned prawns with I cup of water,turmeric powder and salt for 3 minutes.
  • Drain water and keep prawns aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai add onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add coriander powder and turmeric powder to this and sauté for a minute.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and chilli powder and sauté for a minute.
  • Add curry leaves and cooked prawns. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 cup water and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Close the lid and boil for 2 minutes in a low flame.
  • Masala prawns in Kerala style is ready to serve.
