Masala Prawns Kerala Style
It is a side dish for chappathi and rice. Kids and adults like this very much. It is very easy to prepare also.

- 1 cup Prawns
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Gram masala
- 1 tsp Salt
- 11/2 cup Water
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 5 Curry leaves
Cook cleaned prawns with I cup of water,turmeric powder and salt for 3 minutes.
Drain water and keep prawns aside.
Heat oil in a kadai add onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add coriander powder and turmeric powder to this and sauté for a minute.
Add ginger garlic paste and chilli powder and sauté for a minute.
Add curry leaves and cooked prawns. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup water and boil for 2 minutes.
Close the lid and boil for 2 minutes in a low flame.
Masala prawns in Kerala style is ready to serve.
