Guntur Chicken

Guntur Chicken is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Curries in andhra. this is more spicy and colorful curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 1 tsp Guntur red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 3 chopped Onion
  • 1 Green chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tblsp Oil
  • 3 tblsp Poppy seed

For marinating:

  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Wash chicken and marinate with the ingredients and keep aside for at least 1 hour
  • Heat oil in a deep pan, saute the whole spices in the oil for a minute
  • Add green chilli, onions and salt. Fry till onions turn golden brown and add ginger garlic paste and saute
  • Add the marinated chicken and fry on a high flame for 2 to 3 mins.
  • Add the rest of the chilli powder and garam masala, mix well and add enough water to the chicken and cook for 10 mins
  • Soak poppy seeds and make a paste
  • Add the poppy seeds paste, stir well and cook
  • Now its ready to serve Guntur Chicken
