Vazhaipoo - Banana Flower Egg Poriyal

this is good for health and different type of dish in vazhaipoo

Ingredients
  

  • cleaned vazhaipoo / banana flower 1 cup
  • curd 1/4 cup
  • egg 3
  • chopped onion 1 cup
  • red chilli 2 no.
  • oil 3 tsp
  • mustard 1/2 tsp
  • broken black gram 1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves 1 bunch
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp

Instructions
 

  • soak the vazhaipoo / banana flower in curd for 1 hour and finely chop it
  • in pan heat oil and temper the mustard, broken black gram, curry leaves and red chilli
  • add onion and saute it until it turn into brown
  • add chopped banana flower / vazhaipoo, salt and turmeric and mix well
  • add water and allow it to get boiled
  • once the water get dried, add egg and mix well
  • now vazhaipoo/ banana flower poriyal is ready
