Vendakka Kichadi

It is a nadan dish in kerala.We use to make this vendakka kichadi in all festivals.It is a healthy recipe.It is a delicious recipe. We use to prepare this for onam sadya.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Vendakka ladysfinger
  • 2 Onion small
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 4 Green chilli
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 2 Red chilli
  • 5 Curry leaf

Instructions
 

  • Select tender ladysfinger wash wipe and dry cut inti thin slices.,and shallow fry in the oil for 3 minutes until it is brown and crisp.Keep aside.
  • Grind coconut,cumin seeds,chilly and onion in a mixer.
  • Add this ground mix in the curd and mix.
  • Add this fried ladys finger to this curd mix.Mix all well.
  • Heat oil in another kadai add mustard,when it splutters add red chilly and curry leaf add to the vendakka curd mix and mix well.
  • Now vendakka kichadi is ready to serve with hot rice and pappad.
