Arissi Parippu Payasam

It is a traditional neivediyam payasam variety we will make during festivals.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1/2 cup Toor dal
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 6 Kiss miss
  • 8 Cashew
  • 500 gram Jaggery
  • 21/2 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice and tool dal with 2 cup of water cook for 5 minutes ie,3 whistle.
  • Boil jaggery with 1/2 cup water for 2 minutes.And strain it with a filter.
  • Add this jaggery mix to cooked rice and dal and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai and add cashew and kiss miss sate for a minute.
  • Add this cashews and kiss miss and add 1 cup coconut milk to this and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Now Arisi parippu payasam is ready
