Neymeen Varuthathu

Ney meen is a tasty fish available through out south India.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Neymeen
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tsp Water

Instructions
 

  • Clean and cut neymeen into small pieces.In a mixer add chilli powder,pepper powder,turmeric powder,onion,ginger garlic paste ,2tsp water and salt.Marinate the fish pieces with ground paste.
  • Keep this fish in a refrigerator for 15 minutes. After 15minutes take out from refrigerator.
  • Heat coconut oil in a kadai then fry ney meen one by one for 2 minutes.
  • When one side of fish is cooked,then turned other side and cook for 2 minutes
  • Now ney meen varuthathu is ready to serve.
