Varagu Rice Veg Pulav

Varagu is one of the millets. This is very good for health and this make us strong and healthier . we can do more recipes in this millets.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Varagu rice
  • 2 Carrot
  • 100 gm Beans
  • 50 gm Peas
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tblsp Ginger garlic crushed
  • 2 Green chili
  • Mint and coriander small hand
  • Salt as need
  • 2 tblsp Oil/ ghee
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 2 cardamom

Instructions
 

  • Soak varagu rice for 30 mins
  • In pressure pan add oil/ ghee and temper whole garam masala
  • Add onions and green chili sauté well
  • Add crushed ginger garlic and mint , coriander leaves and saute well.
  • Add all vegetables and cook for 5 mins in medium flame
  • Add water 1:2 and make water to boil and put rice in pan
  • Mix well and close lid and cook for 10 min and when two whistles comes turn off
  • Now its ready to serve Varagu rice pulav
