Instant Lemon Pickle

Pickles Are Very important part of Indian Meals.I make Sweet, Sour and Hot lemon pickle.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 nos Lemon
  • 1 tsp Ginger sliced
  • 1 tsp Garlic sliced
  • 6 to Small green chilly kandari mulaku
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida powder
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 2 pinch Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Gingelly oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash the lemons and slice into small pieces as shown in the picture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter Mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds. Add ginger, garlic, small green chillies,[ you can use green chilly], curry leaves and sauté it.
  • Add turmeric, chilli and asafoetida powder,just saute it.
  • Then add sliced lemons and salt , mix it well . Close the pan with a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Finally add vinegar and sugar .Cook it until it get thickens.
  • Let them get cool completely and store them in a bottle. Enjoy this home made pickle anytime. Serve with rices.
