Siru Keerai Coconut Poriyal

A tasty and healthy green leaves curry with the grated coconut. It goes well with rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Siru keerai
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cup Cocconut grated
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 chopped Onion
  • 2 Red chilli
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.When mustard splutters add red chilli and urad dal and stir for 2 minutes.
  • In a drainer wash and clean siru keera
  • Grind grated coconut,cumin seeds,onion and chilli powder in a mixer.
  • Add this ground mix to siru keerai and mix well together.
  • Then add this siru keerai mix and salt to kadai.Stir all together properlyfor 5 minutes until it is cooked well.
  • Now siru keerai poriyal is ready to serve.
