Ingredients
  

  • 2 Raw Banana Vaazghakkai/Pachhakkaya
  • ¼ tspn Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tspn Sambar Powder
  • 1 tspn Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tspns Bengalgram powder KadalaMaavu
  • 1 tspn Blackgram dhal Uzhunnumparippu
  • ½ tspn Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt To taste
  • Coconut/Refined Oil As required

Instructions
 

  • Peel the raw banana and wash it in normal water
  • Cut the raw bananas in round shape
  • Cut the peeled and washed raw bananas in round shape
  • Add Turmeric Powder into the raw banana pieces
  • Also add the Sambar powder, Red Chilli Powder and salt and mix it well
  • Heat Oil in a frying pan
  • Add Mustard seeds and allow to burst them
  • Add Blackgram dhal
  • When the colour of the Blackgram dhal turns into golden, put the masala coated raw banana pieces into the frying pan and also add the Bengalgram powder
  • Stir the mix well for about 2-3 minutes and cover the frying pan with a plate and allow to cook the mix well
  • VaazhakkaiVaruval (Raw banana fry) is ready and it can be served with Poori/Chappathi/cooked rice etc.
