Beef Koorkka Ittathu

A tasty side dish that goes well with rice and rotis. A very nice combination

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Beef
  • 500 gms Koorkka
  • 2 Onions
  • ginger and garlic chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon Corriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garam masala Powder
  • 10 Small onions
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon Perum jeerakam

Instructions
 

  • Add onion, ginger garlic,salt to the beef and mix it well
  • Add 1 cup of water to the beef and boil the same in a cooker for 15 minutes
  • Saute the coconut with half of the small onions, curry leaves, ginger, garlic till it becomes brown.
  • Add masalas and powders to the same and saute well
  • Grind the same to a fine paste.
  • Add the koorkka and the grinded paste to the beef in the cooker. Boil the same
  • Add oil to the pan and add chopped small onions and green chilles and fry it till brown and add it to the beef.
  • Beef koorkka ittathu is ready.
