Special Paneer Curry

A spicy, tasty north indian paneer curry. This goes well with chappathi and roti.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Paneer cubed
  • Onion 1 cup(chopped)
  • 1 cup Tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Capsicum chopped
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Cashew paste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Gin

Instructions
 

  • Chop onions into medium pieces.
  • Cut tomatoes to small pieces.
  • Cut paneer into small pieces.
  • In microwave bowl, put the onions and tomatoes and 1 spoon oil and micro wave for 2 minutes.They will turn a little brown.
  • Grind this to a medium paste.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add 1/2 tsp oil. Add ground paste, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, garam masala, chilli powder andturmeric powder. Sauté for 30-40 seconds.
  • Add 1 spoon salt, cashew paste, milk and paneer to this kadai mix and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add little water, kasoori methi and 1spoon salt. Let it boil for 2 minutes until we get the desired consistency of gravy.
  • Now Special Paneer curry is ready to be served.
