Raw Rice (Pachari) : 2 cup
Lemon Juice : juice of one big lemon (Cheru Naranga)
Chopped Ginger : 2 tsp

Curry Leaves : 8
Turmeric Powder : 2 tsp
Thuvara parippu : 2 tsp
Kappalandi (Peanuts) : 3 tsp
Salt : to taste
Sesame / Refined Oil : as reqd
Instructions
Cook the rice (avoid pressure cooker to cook the rice) and remove the water from it and keep it separately to cool for about 10 -15 minutes.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add thuvara parippu, uzhunnu parippu (if necessary), peanuts and stir the mix well.
Add curry leaves also into this mix and stir it further for 2 - 3 minutes.
Add turmeric powder and lemon juice into this mix.
Then add the cooked rice.
Stir the mix for about 2 - 3 minutes and put off the stove and change the lemon rice into a serving bowl / vessel.

Lemon Rice is ready and it will be very delicious to eat with coconut chutney.
